How to search for stuff on the course web site
Here's a short video explaining how to find stuff on the course website.
There's a pretty good search function built right in.
You don't have to click and click and click on links to look for stuff; you can just search, instead.
How to customize your user profile
Here's a short video explaining how to customize your profile on the course web site.
(Before you can customize your profile, you'll need to have an account on the site. If you don't already have an account, click here for a short video explaining how to ask for one.)
You're not required to customize your profile, but it's pretty easy--and kind of cool--to do it if you want to.
You can change your profile so that your name--first name only or nickname, for example--rather than your email address, is displayed when you leave a comment.
You can also change your profile so it displays whatever picture you want whenever you leave a comment. It doesn't have to be a photograph of your face; it can be a cartoon, which is what I use in the example below.
